I'm Dan Knowles, President of Brand Ubiquity

There are many well-led, competent marketing organizations that are inefficient in their use of human and financial capital.  This can be due to misallocation of resources, skill outages among key marketers,  lack of marketing focus on critical business drivers, poor prioritization, or simply the need for more consistent and effective communication.

Having been a CMO of a large organization and having coached other CMOs and senior marketers, I know first-hand where many of the inefficiencies are and how to improve marketing's contribution to the bottom-line. Leading marketing teams at the brand, category, and company level — in markets as diverse as consumer products, healthcare, and information technology services — I understand not just the strategic issues, but the need for simple, pragmatic solutions that generate results quickly.

Why I formed my own company

I started Brand Ubiquity as a way to share the experience I've gained over the past 20 years and to help marketing leaders improve organizational effectiveness, productivity and company profitability.  I am passionate about the importance of effectively implementing integrated brand strategies and providing practical tools and techniques to help marketing leaders recognize, anticipate, and effectively deal with potential issues and opportunities in the market.

How Brand Ubiquity can help

I am not an expert in all areas — and promise to tell you when what you've asked exceeds my ability to add value — but once we agree to work together, I guarantee you will see an improved return on your marketing investment. By using our proprietary Five I MethodologySM, we can prioritize the biggest opportunities for improvement and develop a strategically focused, metric driven approach to address them.

"Brand Ubiquity has enabled us to dramatically improve the productivity of the Turner marketing organization over the past 2 years.  From helping us develop a more focused marketing strategy and realigning our organizational structure to better support it, to building the skill levels of our managers through coaching and group training, Dan has been instrumental in improving our capabilities.  His ability to shape and translate business strategy into pragmatic programs with specific accountability helped us establish Turner leadership in one of the fastest growing niche sectors of our industry – laying the foundation for significant project awards in new business.  He also helped us avoid unnecessary spending in several areas and identified more cost-effective alternatives.  I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Brand Ubiquity to any company looking to significantly improve the return on their marketing investment."
